Peridot Dynasty Product Review: Intelliarmor 4 Port USB Charger

This is my old charger, and it's been quite a while since I purchased her. She's been a trusty friend over the years, but has two ports that work, and two that do not. She would get warm after a while, and that's not good for something in an outlet, charging devices with Lithium Ion batteries. (Disclaimer in 3..2...)So, just my luck--I've been in the market for a charger, and Intelliarmor invites me to try theirs for a heavy discount. In return, as always, it's my job to spread WOM ( word of mouth) through social media and my blog.

I tried the charger out for a full week before posting about it. Y'know, give it a shot to see if passes my personal tests from temperature to charge time. I was very impressed! I consider this charger port an upgrade from my old one, because it does exactly what I wanted--charge, doesn't take all day, and doesn't become a freakin' fire hazard in my aunt's house.

  • Temperature: There was none. I kept pressing my palm and hands against the charger as it was both hooked up to the wall and my iPhone. Of course the iPhone was warm, but the charger was not. Cool to the touch during and after the charge session.
  • Time: I use my phone down to the 20% wire, because Final Fantasy Record Keeper ain't gonna play itself, and I want to share all my bedtime selfies and invasive thoughts with the world. It took a good 30-40 minutes for the phone to reach 50%, and almost a little under an hour as a whole for it to completely charge.
  • Space: An outlet hog is a terrible waste of space. Not that my old charger was a hog, but it sure didn't leave a lot of room, thanks to its awkward shape. Plugging that into walls and surge protectors often took a little work. The Intelliarmor charger is rectangular-shaped. As you can see in the picture, it takes up just enough space, but not all the space.

The Intelliarmor 4-Port USB Charger is a must-have. It promises not to overcharge your devices, and uses smart-charge technology--meaning your devices only get the charge they need, and not a universal current that might be too much. Give it a shot, and I think you'll be very happy with your purchase.
