Update With A Side of Fries

This nation is in such an endless stream of turmoil. I took a look back at some of my older social commentary posts, and just hated the way I sounded. The anger, the irritation, the marinade of "Tumblr SJW" I'm sure it seemed was dripping from my person. Granted these issues existed long before the days of Tumblr, sometimes a well thought out idea becomes such a struggle. It isn't that I don't care, but the energy drains the writer. The thought and emotion makes my head hurt. I set out to post product reviews and happy things, while showing the world that I am aware and not "asleep" to the issues of my people, issues to women, fat people, and everything else intertwined and otherwise. Sometimes I want to write about a product, and sometimes I just want to write about my struggle bagel pizzas, a product, or a pretty flower. It isn't about not caring, but more of not stressing myself out. Believe me, reading headline after headline about death, racism, brutality, and religious oppression by way of x, y, and z gets to you. You spend your days either trying to live life or you cross over the edge trying to juggle everything all at once. In a world full of denial and socio-economic inequality, one will be in the juggle loop all day long. I cannot do that.

Granted there's only about four of you that secretly read this blog when your coffee is still boiling, I also have to keep in mind that your attention spans probably aren't amped for a thousand word essay fueled by pent up rage and discontent with the state of the USA. We all know it--this is a corrupt nation born from the loins of theft and death. A modern Babylon, if you will. The constant reminders are sensationalized daily on out TVs, Internet, and non-digital periodicals of choice. Creating spaces where these issues aren't constantly in view is necessary, due to the spaces that arouse our awareness. In my own inflated head, I wanted to be one of those spaces of neutrality/happiness/time consumption.

Long story short, condensation and "blogging what I know/know of" will be the standard format. The soapbbox isn't dismantled, but it won't be as high.
