I didn't quite run down the street once school ended, but that long-awaited sleep finally came to me. And then....it hit me--this was the perfect time for me to start combating my student loans and credit card debt. I have three months to get things in order. I finally have my chance to work for a little more than peanuts, and I'm going to take it. The only thing--I have to relocate to TN for a little while to make it happen.
I thought long and hard about it for a minute. What would I be leaving behind? Nothing. I'll be taking my computer, my tablet, and my 360 with me. I can still freelance at night, write, and workout around town. Although the nearest SGI center is a little ways away in Nahsville, I can still take my beads and chant anyway. I'll miss out on Chicago for about two whole months. I'll...probably miss out on the little things I'm accustomed to, but it's not like my aunt doesn't have a house full of awesome things. She has a spacious yard perfect for writing, drinking teas, and taking pictures.
I'll be working with one of her good friends who already knows me. Apparently she said I was so sweet that she'd have no trouble hiring me for the Summer. I'd be helping her cater, set up, and pretty much do office work. (I'm the weird person who likes writing emails, by the way.) So, I'm going where the jobs are, so to speak. I'm going to scrape together a little change, update my resume record, and probably tan myself to a nice dark brown.
(and ruin my diet with hush puppies, ice cream, puppy chow, pizza hut, various pies, and catfish.)

Yes darlings, I've been hired!
