Quickie Product Review-- Hershey's Chocolate Spread

I got handpicked by CrowdTap to try Hershey's Chocolate Spread. I mean, come on, who's gonna say no to free chocolate? Free spreadable chocolate. Awww yeah, baby. When I got my package in the mail, I ripped it open and stuck my finger right in the sweet brown goodness. We're talkin' rich, creamy goodness with a hint of hazelnut. Now, that sounds like Nutella, doesn't it? Nutella it ain't.

This spread is in a league of its own with a sweet, savory flavor that might remind you of Nutella, but is a lot less abrasive on the tastebuds. While I usually get tired of Nutella by the middle of the container, the Hershey's Spread was just like having a big ol' Hershey's bar in a jar. So, what did I put it on? The CrowdTap assignment requested I try it on five different things. I chose:

  • Rold Gold Pretzel Rods
  • Nilla Wafers
  • Apple slices
  • White toast
  • Hershey's Holiday Candy Kisses
Yes, I spread Hershey's on Hershey's, lol. It was well worth it. I REALLY like the way it went with the pretzels. The other combinations were okay, but that combo of pretzel and chocolate was amazing. Kinda had a hint of a gourmet appeal with the pretzel salt and the chocolate. But alas, how can you go wrong with Hershey's? They've been fueling all our childhoods for years and years. (Except for the dark chocolate. I'll have none of that evil evil stuff. o_o )

Best spreadable, I tell you what. :-)
