Make a Font with Your Handwriting with MyScriptFont

Good old Tumblr. There's always a site to check out. One of my followers recently reblogged this site where you can create a font all your own...literally. It uses your handwriting, and comes out flawlessly. All you have to do is download the font template paper, print it out, write down the letters as you'd write them in upper and lowercase, scan (make sure you read the paper to do it right), and you're good to go. It also has numbers, punctuation, and a few other optional characters. It's called MyScriptFont, and it's very easy to use.

It's pretty neat. I created a font called "RoniScribz", and it's available for anyone who wants to try it out. For some goofy reason, putting the caps lock on makes the letters lowercase. Turning it off makes them upper. I dunno if this just because of my wacky lettering, or...if it's really a thing. In any case, give it a try! Once you download and install to your fonts file, you can use it in any program you wish. I used it in Photoshop Portable to make the title pic.

Happy fontin'!
