When Waiting to Exhale came out in theaters, my aunt and grandmother rushed to see it. Nana came home with a bangin' movie soundtrack she played every time she sewed, cleaned, had company, or did her bills. She popped some gum in her mouth, got to work, and grooved. Of course I was somewhere around the house listening off and on. Eventually, I grew to love and adore this soundtrack, quietly singing off key all the time. It's hard to pick just one awesome song from that soundtrack, but there's one that eeeeeverybody knows the words to. You know the one....
