Ms. Williams needs to write more. She admires the style and presence of one Luvvie aka Awesomely Luvvie aka the reason I'm considering spending an entire day watching Scandal (because I haven't...ever...*ducks*) and playing major catch up. So when the Awesome One says "let's spend August writing every day", it's time to accept the challenge!
THIS IS A CHALLENGE? Why? 'Cause this lady runs out of stuff to write about! My blog has been asleep as of this month, where I've just been posting as the muse hits me. This challenge is going to push me. I have to find something to talk about every single day. I have to find a topic. Now, Luvvie says filler is cool and all, but I want more than just pictures and videos. I want to produce content. I want to write stories. I want to create commentary and see what happens to my traffic. I get a few views here and there, based on Google searches, my own social network updating, and maaaaaaybe if someone notices a comment, they come to see the wacko named Veronica.
Here are the rules for the challenge:
- A new post must be on the blog for the next 31 days.
- Posts can be scheduled.
- Hashtag #31WriteNow must be used when you tweet the link to said post.
- Content and length? That's all up to you! Do what you want with it!
Is this difficult? Yes. Can I do it? YES! Since I'm on hiatus from my gaming life (aka the Tonberry mission is making me cry real RPG player tears, and I either need to beef up or go home), I oughta have plenty of time to come up with 31 days of content. (On the 30th, I promise not to prattle on about turning 28.)
So here we go. This is day one. August 1, 2013. Let's see how long I can handle it.
