I keep breaking that #1 rule as a woman with natural hair--ye shall not become a product junkie. But whenever I see something interesting that I think might work for my hair, I want to give it a shot. I HAVE to. For the most part, I've been using some of Shea Moisture's line, and Cantu's. Usually by the Summer, I switch over to Kinky-Curly. Well, just when I was about to, I noticed another natural in a former FB group talking about this stuff called "Aunt Jackie's".
When she started singing the praises of its cheapness (she got it from a dollar store), I was skeptical. But when she mentioned she had 4b/4c hair, I was interested. Cheap hair stuff for these thick and kinky coils? Yes ma'am, we're about to try the entire line. Since I'm a lazy butt, I went online and found the entire line. I'm paying mayjah dollars for a product review, but what the heck. I got a slick discount by going to Retailmenot.
So um, whenever everything goes through, this shall be my next product review. Something for the naturals, I guess. :) For more info on Aunt Jackie's, swing by their website. To get social with 'em, check out their Facebook and Twitter pages. Looking forward to taking pictures and making a vidya of my process. Hopefully, I won't get shampoo in my eye. If I do, you'll be looking at me with one red eye the entire time I blabber about hair care. >_o
