Chicago Comic-Con 2012

You can pretty much tell I was a newbie, completely in awe of the moment. I was also broke as hell and um, didn't get half as much as I wanted. Still, I made the best out of the three hours I was there, snapping pictures and talking to people. Next time/next year will be better. My grandmother asked me an interesting question..."why didn't you have someone go with you" and I wasn't really thinking like that. Is it weird to go to things like that by yourself? Is necessary to the experience? I did forget to actually put myself in any of the shots, but you can hear me talking behind the camera. I think I got one picture where my thumb is over my new purple Yoshi plush. On the plus side, I finally got to take Wolverine home with me. Hee hee.

I think it made me a little sad she mentioned that, because I had a great time despite being by myself. I would have loved for the boyfriend to have been there, but it's a long-distance romance at the moment. If he's here next year, then of course I'll have somebody to go with. I think one of my old classmates went and I probably should have asked him to like...tag along temporarily haha. In any case, here's my little video blog in all its glory. FoxyMamaRox went to Comic-Con Chicago, y'all. It was just something to do, something out of the ordinary for the lady who's a bit of a homebody. It sort of made me realize how much I've missed out in the world.
