This is the thing I've been waiting on for a week. I didn't bother going to the usual stores (Wal-Mart, K-Mart, etc.) for this one. I'll put it this way--sometimes when you ask for things like a cookie press, people give you strange looks like this--> o_o as if the concept of a cookie press is that strange of a deal. I suppose so. How many people do they know in that particular area who are looking for those things?
It's probably the reason why there's more cookie cutters than anything else. It's times like these when I wish I could find a semi high-end kitchenware store in my area. I think they'd be afraid to open up shop, though. The Border's that shut down earlier would be a great spot for it. Anyway, this bad boy is supposedly easy to use. I read some reviews on Amazon, and it's all mixed reviews. I'm just hoping I don't end up with a cracked machine as well. The video on the Wilton website makes it seem like I'm a kid again with the squeezin' of play dough out of one of those shape stations. Here's hoping. I finally have a reason to execute one of my Peanut Butter Cookie recipes, though. I've been meaning to get this cookie press for a long, long time. I can't wait to try out all the little shapes this week.
