I started this blog sometime in 2008. I wanted to start a product review blog back then, but lost interest in the project and let it sit around for a long time. I re-launched in February of 2011 in the hopes of polishing my own writing skills while appealing to the random searches of the average user. I also post pieces of my work via self-publishing and Medium. As of 2025, I have stopped product reviewing.
Peridot Dynasty has been re-hashed about four times. I'm kinda done with it for now. I have a personal blog I vent and work through issues. I have a poetry blog and other accounts for creative pieces. What it originally was had everything to do with ambitions of being discovered like Samantha Irby. And when I was still a Luuvie fan, I wanted to be like her. Now, I just want to write and get a li'l blazed.
Also, I'm old. Let the younger girlies influence. I am a big ol' lady who just wants to live her life at this point, one Kettlebell and coffee cup at a time.
